Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience; proven experience in recruitment and employee relations, or in an HR Generalist role, is preferred.
• CPHR designation (or equivalent, such as CHRL) or actively working towards it.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Experience in mining, construction or heavy industry is strongly preferred; experience in the potash and uranium sectors is considered an asset.
• High-volume recruitment experience, particularly for skilled trades or remote and rotational workforces, is considered an asset.
• Start-up, greenfield or regional expansion experience is considered a strong asset.
• Strong working knowledge of The Saskatchewan Employment Act, workers’ compensation; knowledge of Manitoba legislation is an asset.
• Experience resolving workplace conflict and conducting or supporting workplace investigations is considered an asset.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities and employment partners is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills, with the courage to give candid advice and the discretion to handle confidential matters.
• A self-starter who thrives in building something from the ground up with limited existing structure.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Western Canada including occasional trips to Technica HQ in Ontario. Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
