“Jim Lundrigan joined our team as a Sr. Project Manager, Near Surface Deposits earlier this year and it is clear to all of us that Jim has much more to offer,” said Mario Grossi, Technica Mining’s President and CEO. “It is not every day that someone you’ve admired and aspired to be your whole career joins your team. It’s even more special when they agree to help create our Future.”

Born and raised in Sudbury, Lundrigan started off as an underground miner, working his way through various duties and roles including those in smelting, Human Resources and Mines Engineering. He successfully took on various senior management roles for a global mining company with his teams having been recognized with the annual John T Ryan award 3 times as the safest metal mine in Ontario. Jim helped develop mine operating systems including: mine production tracking & scheduling, workforce utilization tools and a unique health coaching program. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Science North Board of Trustees and plays a significant role in the“Go Deeper” expansion project for Dynamic Earth.
